It is designed for non-contact measurement of shaft vibration and axial displacement of rotating machinery. Structural Characteristics Stainless steel threaded probe body with lock nut. PTFE insulated integral cable. Hermetically sealed coil assembly inside probe tip. Microdot metal connector at cable terminal. Anti-vibration locking nut to prevent gap drift.

Working Principle The matched 6000 series proximitor sends high-frequency alternating excitation signal to probe coil.  Coil impedance changes as the gap between probe tip and rotor surface changes. The impedance variation signal returns to proximitor and is converted into linear analog voltage signal to realize real-time displacement and vibration measurement.

Installation Requirements Screw probe into threaded mounting hole of equipment casing. Tighten lock nut firmly after gap setting to prevent loosening caused by machine vibration. Arrange cable route to avoid sharp bending and pulling force.
