Working Principle High-frequency excitation signal from matched proximitor is transmitted to coil inside probe tip. Alternating magnetic field induces eddy current on metal rotor surface. Coil impedance changes along with gap variation between probe tip and rotor. Impedance signal returns to proximitor through integral cable and is converted into linear analog voltage signal for real-time gap and vibration measurement.
Installation Requirements Screw probe into threaded mounting hole of equipment casing. Adjust static gap between probe tip and rotor target according to calibration requirement. Tighten lock nut firmly after gap setting to prevent loosening caused by machine vibration. Arrange cable path with enough slack to avoid tension force. Separate signal cable from high voltage power cable to reduce electromagnetic interference. Check target metal surface size and flatness before installation.
