Working Principle Temperature sensors transfer resistance or voltage signal corresponding to temperature to module terminals. Internal circuit processes and converts raw sensor signal into actual temperature value. The module compares measured temperature with preset alarm and trip limits, outputs protection logic signal and uploads all data to rack interface module.
Installation Requirements Insert module into specified slot of 3500 rack and lock front panel. Confirm backplane connector fully contacts rack backplane. Connect RTD or thermocouple shielded wire to front input terminals. Select sensor type and set temperature threshold via configuration software.
