Technical Specifications Probe Tip Diameter: 60 mm Linear Measurement Range:0~15.24 mm Integral Cable Length:10m Insulation Material: PTFE Operating Temperature: -55℃ ~ +177℃ Connector Type: Microdot connector Frequency Response:0~5kHz
Functional Features 60mm super large probe tip with ultra-wide linear measuring range. 10m integral cable for long-distance measuring point arrangement. High temperature resistant probe and cable for hot installation positions. Stable signal transmission under strong vibration industrial environment. Stainless steel threaded body with lock nut for gap calibration and fixing. Only compatible with specially matched Bently 3300 series proximitor.
Application Scenarios Rotor vibration monitoring of super large heavy rotating industrial equipment. Ultra-large axial thrust displacement measurement of large heavy compressors. Online monitoring of heavy rotating machinery in power plants with big clearance. Large fan and heavy pump rotor gap and vibration measurement. Industrial non-contact displacement measurement with ultra-large gap requirement.
Structural Characteristics Stainless steel threaded probe body equipped with lock nut. High temperature PTFE insulated 10-meter integral cable. Hermetically sealed coil assembly inside super large probe tip. Microdot metal connector at cable end. Anti-loosening locking nut to prevent gap shift under vibration.
Working Principle Dedicated proximitor outputs high-frequency alternating excitation signal to probe coil. Eddy current is induced on metal rotor surface by alternating magnetic field. Coil impedance changes as the gap between probe tip and rotor changes. Impedance variation signal returns to proximitor and is converted into linear analog voltage to reflect real-time large gap, vibration and displacement value of rotating shaft.
Installation Requirements Install probe into threaded hole on equipment casing. Adjust static gap between probe tip and rotor target according to calibration data. Lock nut tightly after gap adjustment to prevent loosening by machine vibration. Arrange cable with enough slack, avoid pulling force caused by thermal expansion.
