Bently 330103-00-07-10-02-00 Proximity Probe

Product Brief Introduction Bently 330103-00-07-10-02-00 is 3300 series eddy current proximity probe. With 11mm probe tip and 7m integral cable, it is used for non-contact measurement of shaft vibration and thrust displacement of large rotating machinery. It is suitable for field measuring points requiring long cable transmission, matched with Bently 3300 series proximitor preamplifier.

Working Principle Proximitor sends high-frequency alternating excitation signal to probe coil. Alternating magnetic field generates eddy current on metal rotor surface. The coil impedance changes with the gap between probe tip and rotor surface. The impedance signal is transmitted back through long cable to proximitor and converted into linear voltage signal for gap and vibration measurement.

Installation Requirements Screw probe into threaded hole of machine casing. Adjust initial static gap between probe tip and rotor target according to calibration value. Tighten lock nut after gap adjustment to prevent displacement under vibration. Arrange cable path with enough slack to avoid tension from thermal expansion. Separate signal cable from high voltage power cable to reduce electromagnetic interference. Verify target surface flatness and size before installation.
