Working Principle High-frequency excitation signal is transmitted from proximitor to coil inside probe tip. Eddy current is induced on metal rotor surface. Coil impedance changes along with gap variation between probe tip and rotor.
Installation Requirements Install probe on machine casing through threaded fitting. Adjust static gap between probe tip and rotor target according to system calibration requirement. Tighten lock nut firmly after gap setting to avoid displacement caused by vibration. Lay cable with proper slack to avoid tension under thermal expansion.
