Working Principle Proximitor sends high-frequency alternating excitation signal to coil inside probe tip. Alternating magnetic field induces eddy current on the surface of metal rotor target. The coil impedance changes with the gap between probe tip and rotor surface. Impedance variation signal returns to proximitor and is converted into linear voltage signal to reflect real-time gap and vibration value.

Installation Requirements Mount probe on equipment casing through threaded mounting hole. Adjust static gap between probe tip and rotor target according to calibration requirement. Tighten lock nut after gap setting to prevent loosening caused by machine vibration. Arrange cable route to avoid sharp bending and friction damage. Keep cable away from high temperature pipeline and high voltage power line. Verify target surface size and flatness before installation.
