Working Principle When the equipment casing vibrates, the internal inertial mass applies force on piezoelectric crystal. The crystal generates electric charge proportional to vibration acceleration. The built-in amplifier converts charge signal into low impedance voltage signal. The vibration signal is transmitted to Bently monitoring module via dedicated shielded cable for vibration calculation and alarm judgment.
Installation Requirements Mount sensor on flat, rigid and clean surface of bearing housing. Use matched stud for installation and tighten to recommended torque. Connect dedicated shielded vibration signal cable to sensor connector. Route cable to avoid tension, friction and sharp edge cutting. Ground sensor housing according to Bently system grounding specification. Check signal output quality after installation.
