Technical Specifications Bus Type: Bently proprietary internal system bus Power Distribution: Multi-channel DC power transmission Slot Quantity: Matched with 3500 rack slot quantity Operating Temperature: 0℃ ~ +60℃ Storage Temperature: -40℃ ~ +85℃ Connector: Gold plated slot connectors for each module Insulation: High insulation PCB substrate
Functional Features Distribute DC power from power module to every rack slot. Provide internal communication bus for data exchange between modules. Gold plated slot connectors ensure reliable electrical contact. Integrated signal and power routing on printed circuit board. Support hot-swap function of plug-in modules. Built-in EMC shielding design to reduce crosstalk.
Application Scenarios Backplane of Bently 3500 series machinery monitoring rack. Steam turbine and gas turbine protection cabinet internal bus. Centrifugal compressor online monitoring system rack. Power plant rotating equipment protection control cabinet. Petrochemical plant critical machinery condition monitoring rack.
Structural Characteristics Large multilayer printed circuit board installed at rear of rack. Gold plated female connectors corresponding to each module slot. Power and signal traces embedded inside PCB. Metal fixing bracket for mounting inside rack housing. Shielding structure to reduce electromagnetic crosstalk between channels.
Working Principle The power supply module outputs DC power to backplane power traces. Backplane distributes power to every slot connector. The internal system bus traces run across all slots, so each plug-in module can exchange measurement data, alarm status and configuration information with each other through backplane bus. All modules communicate and share data through this common backplane bus.
Installation Requirements Mount backplane firmly on rear of Bently 3500 rack housing. Check all slot connectors are clean and no deformation before installing modules. Confirm rack ground wire connected reliably to backplane ground point. Avoid scratch on gold-plated contact surface of connectors. Do not install modules when backplane is damaged. Inspect backplane regularly for dust accumulation.
