Working Principle The 3-wire RTD cable transmits resistance change signal of platinum RTD sensor to temperature module. The 3-wire design can eliminate the resistance error caused by cable itself. The shielding layer guides external electromagnetic interference noise to ground, preventing noise from affecting tiny resistance signal of RTD sensor and ensuring accurate temperature reading.
Installation Requirements Route cable separately from high current power cable. Avoid laying cable near high temperature pipeline where possible. Maintain enough bending radius, prevent sharp bending. Connect three wires strictly according to 3-wire RTD wiring definition. Connect shielding layer to single grounding point at module side. Fix cable properly to avoid pulling force on sensor connection point.
