Working Principle Magnetic speed probe generates pulse signal as gear tooth passes probe tip. The module captures pulse signal, counts pulse frequency and calculates real-time shaft rotating speed. The measured speed is compared with preset warning and trip threshold. When speed exceeds threshold, alarm and trip signal will be generated and sent to relay module and rack system. The diagnostic circuit monitors pulse signal integrity continuously.
Installation Requirements Insert module into designated slot of Bently 3500 rack. Connect magnetic pickup probe signal cable to front terminals. Set gear tooth number, overspeed warning and trip threshold by Bently software. Use shielded twisted pair cable for speed probe wiring. Separate signal cable from high voltage power cable. Complete system calibration after installation.
