Technical Specifications Relay Quantity: Multi-channel relay outputs Contact Type: Form C relay contact Contact Rating: 250VAC / 30VDC Operating Temperature: 0℃ ~ +60℃ Storage Temperature: -40℃ ~ +85℃ Power Supply: Supplied by 3500 rack backplane Dimension: Standard single-slot 3500 rack module
Functional Features Receive system alarm events and drive relay contact action. Each relay channel can be independently configured for alarm level. Dry contact output, isolated from rack internal circuit. Front panel LED indicators for relay status. Hot-swap support for online replacement. Supports latch and non-latch relay operation mode.
Application Scenarios Machinery protection interlock output for steam turbine and compressor. Local alarm light and horn drive of rotating equipment monitoring cabinet. Power plant generator protection system relay interlock. Petrochemical plant critical equipment trip and alarm signal output. External DCS system dry contact alarm signal input.
Structural Characteristics Standard single-slot plug-in structure for Bently 3500 rack. Front panel LED status indicators for each relay channel. Backplane golden finger for rack bus and power supply. Screw terminal block on front panel for relay contact wiring. Metal shielding housing and rack locking latch.
Working Principle The module reads alarm status from each monitoring module via rack backplane bus. When the measured value exceeds preset alarm threshold, internal control circuit triggers corresponding relay coil. The relay contact switches state to output dry contact signal to external equipment. The LED indicator lights up to show relay action status. Relay can be set to latch mode, requiring manual reset after alarm.
Installation Requirements Install module in designated slot of Bently 3500 rack. Wire external alarm or interlock circuit to front panel screw terminals. Configure relay logic, alarm source and latch mode via official software. Confirm contact load does not exceed rated electrical limit. Ensure reliable rack grounding. Hot swap operation must comply with site safety specification.
