Installation and Usage Notes
Install the module in two adjacent Procontrol P14 subrack slots, leaving one free slot on each side for ventilation. Connect the RJ-45 Ethernet cable (Cat.5e, max. 100 m) to the X2 port. Connect the RS-232 service cable to the X1 port if local configuration is required. Insert the 48-pole edge connector (X11) into the VST station bus. Verify the redundant 24 V DC supply (USA/USB) is present. Confirm the RUN LED is green and the LNK/ACT LEDs indicate proper Ethernet communication during commissioning. Observe the minimum node spacing of 0.6 m between Ethernet participants.
