Functional Features
The module supports a 4500 V blocking voltage and 2645 A average current, suitable for large-scale power conversion in medium-voltage systems. Its high surge current tolerance ensures reliability under transient load conditions. Integrated gate drive and protection simplify system design and reduce external components. The press-pack housing facilitates double-side cooling for superior thermal performance and features non-catastrophic failure modes, enhancing system safety. High snubber-less turn-off rating and simple optical control interface with status feedback are provided.

Application Scenarios
Central switching element in medium-voltage drives, grid compensation systems (STATCOM/SVC), and renewable energy converters. Used in industrial process control for metal processing, cement production, chemical manufacturing, and material handling systems. Also applied in mining & heavy machinery drives, oil & gas, marine propulsion, and power generation & grid support.
Installation and Usage Notes
Mount using a calibrated press applying the specified clamping force (36–44 kN) against a flat, clean heat sink (liquid- or air-cooled). Ensure the cooling circuit is operational before applying DC-link voltage. Connect the gate driver using the specified low-inductance connection and verify gate auxiliary supply. Observe proper handling procedures for press-pack devices to avoid mechanical damage.
