Working Principle
AC 800M CPU writes output image to backplane, card drives relay coil through opto-isolator, contact closes field circuit, status reflected back via LED and diagnostics.
Installation Requirements
Insert into TB840 terminal base on S800 rack, DIN rail mount, 24 V DC field supply separated from backplane, terminate load per 2 A channel rating, suppress inductive loads with freewheel diode or RC snubber.
Usage Notes
Relay mechanical life limited by switching frequency, derate for inductive loads. Replace only in planned outage. Do not exceed 2 A per channel.
