Working Principle
In drive mode samples motor current voltage, runs DTC flux and torque estimator, emits IGBT gate pattern over fiber. In excitation mode measures generator terminal voltage and field current, computes AVR error, drives thyristor bridge firing angle, applies PSS damping.
Installation Requirements
Seat in ACS800 DCU slot or UNITROL rack, align backplane, 24 V DC isolated supply, redundant pair needs identical firmware.
Usage Notes
XVC724BE102 is BE high-end variant, not interchangeable with AE101 entry version without re-licensing. Hot-swap only in redundant ACS880 configuration.
