Functional Features
Power unit drive control for ACS6000 IGBT stacks. High-speed ADC and DAC signal conditioning. Multi-protocol Ethernet and fiber communication to 800xA. Overvoltage overcurrent overheating and IGBT fault protection with onboard LEDs. Galvanic isolation between MV deck and control logic. Dual-module redundant configuration support.

Application Scenarios
ACS6000 medium-voltage drive power unit control in metallurgy, power, petrochemical, fan, pump and compressor drives.
Material and Structure
Industrial PCB with surface-mount logic, fiber transceivers, gold edge connector, aluminum mounting bracket, conformal-coated sections.
Working Principle
Main CPU sends DTC switching pattern over fiber or backplane, board amplifies gate signals and samples phase voltage current and temperature, returns conditioned values and fault bits to the controller, closes the torque loop at drive level.
Installation Requirements
Insert into dedicated ACS6000 power unit slot, seat edge connector, secure with captive screws, separate 24 V DC control supply from DC-link bus, route fiber away from power conductors.
Usage Notes
Discontinued by ABB, source only verified NOS or refurbished. Verify XVC769AE101 firmware matches ACS6000 main CPU. Do not mix AE100 or AE102 revisions in same stack.
