Functional Features

Material and Structure
Same circular PCB geometry as CE101, gold contact ring, added filter components, heavier conformal coat, identical mounting holes and heatsink contact profile.
Working Principle
Functionally identical signal path to R0001, with tighter analog filtering, shorter fault decision latency and improved dv or dt immunity on gate drive rails; optical receive, isolated pulse amplify, feedback sample, fault compare, optical return.

Installation Requirements
Same heatsink ring drop-in as R0001, reuse torque values, separate optical sync from power conductors, acknowledge revision ID in DriveWindow after swap, confirm cooling airflow before energize.
Usage Notes
Electrically and mechanically backward-compatible with R0001 slot. Drive firmware may log a revision change alarm, clear it in DriveWindow. Do not mix R0001 and R0003 on different phases of same stack unless ABB confirms homogeneous stack firmware.
