Dual redundant Ethernet ports support network redundancy for high availability. It supports multiple standard industrial communication protocols. It acts as a gateway between the Ovation backplane bus and the Ethernet network, converting system data into Ethernet packets and vice versa. It manages network communication, protocol conversion and data exchange, and supports redundant network operation to ensure continuous communication.

Install in any available Ovation chassis slot. Use Category 5e or higher shielded twisted pair Ethernet cables. Configure IP address and network parameters via engineering software. Ensure both ports are connected for redundant operation. Implement reliable system grounding.
