Technical Specifications
Cable type: Category 5e SFTP shielded twisted pair. Length: 15 meters. Connector: 8P8C RJ45 shielded metal. Data rate: 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation. Impedance: 100Ω ±15%. Shield coverage: 95% braided copper + foil. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C. Connector rating: IP67 mated.
Functional Features
Dual foil and braid shielding provides maximum EMI/RFI rejection in industrial environments. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. Molded strain relief at both ends extends cable life under mechanical stress. The industrial jacket resists oil, chemicals and abrasion. It supports standard Ethernet protocols and network topologies.
Application Scenarios
It is used for Ethernet connections in Ovation DCS systems, plant floor device networking, cabinet-to-cabinet data links, industrial Ethernet installations, and network runs near high-voltage power equipment.
Performance Parameters
Transmission rate: 10/100Mbps. Insertion loss: <0.6dB per connector. Shield attenuation: >40dB @ 100MHz. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C. Pull strength: 100N minimum.

Material Composition
Conductors: tinned solid copper. Insulation: high-density polyethylene. Shield: aluminum polyester foil + 95% tinned copper braid. Jacket: oil-resistant industrial PVC. Connector: shielded metal with gold-plated copper contacts.
Structural Characteristics
It features 4-pair twisted pair construction, overall dual shielding, shielded RJ45 connectors at both ends, molded strain relief boots, and a durable industrial outer jacket.
Working Principle
It transmits differential Ethernet signals over twisted conductor pairs. The combined foil and braid shield contains radiated emissions and blocks incoming electromagnetic interference, maintaining signal integrity in electrically noisy industrial environments and enabling reliable data communication between network devices.
Installation Requirements
Plug into standard RJ45 Ethernet ports until the locking tab engages. Ground the cable shield at one end only to avoid ground loops. Maintain minimum bend radius of 10× cable diameter. Route cable away from high-voltage power lines and motor drives. Secure cable with appropriate strain relief.
