Technical Specifications
Number of I/O points: 16. Terminal type: cage clamp screw terminals. Wire range: 24-14 AWG. Current capacity: 2A per I/O terminal, 10A per power/common terminal. Voltage rating: 250V AC/DC. Screw torque: 0.6-0.8 N·m. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C. Mounting: 35mm DIN rail.
Functional Features
Cage clamp terminals provide secure, vibration-resistant wire connections. Clearly marked terminal designations simplify wiring and troubleshooting. Hot-swap capability allows I/O module replacement without disturbing field wiring. Built-in bus bars distribute power and common connections. Standard DIN rail mounting enables quick installation.

Application Scenarios
It is used as the wiring interface for Ovation 16-point I/O modules in process control cabinets, power plant DCS panels, manufacturing automation systems and water treatment control facilities.
Performance Parameters
I/O terminal current: 2A per point. Power terminal current: 10A. Voltage rating: 250V AC/DC. Contact resistance: <3mΩ. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C. Vibration resistance: 5G @ 10Hz to 500Hz. Shock resistance: 30G.
Material Composition
Housing is UL 94 V-0 rated flame-retardant polyamide. Terminal clamps are copper alloy with tin plating. Mounting clips are spring steel with zinc coating.
Structural Characteristics
It features modular terminal base construction with insulated plastic housing, two parallel terminal rows, DIN rail mounting clips, and top-mounted I/O module receptacle with gold-plated contacts.
Working Principle
It serves as the mechanical and electrical interface between field wiring and plug-in I/O modules. It terminates field cables at screw terminals, routes signals and power to the I/O module through internal conductive paths, and provides physical mounting and strain relief for field wiring.
Installation Requirements
Mount on standard 35mm DIN rail. Use 24-14 AWG copper wire for field connections. Tighten terminal screws to 0.6-0.8 N·m torque. Ensure reliable protective grounding. Seat I/O module firmly into the base until it clicks into place.
