Working Principle
It receives millivolt-level signals from thermocouple sensors, amplifies and conditions the signals, performs cold junction compensation to reference the measurement to 0°C, converts the analog values to digital temperature data through A/D conversion, and transmits the data to the Ovation controller via the system backplane.
Installation Requirements
Install in a standard Ovation I/O chassis slot. Use thermocouple extension wire of matching type for field wiring. Observe correct polarity for thermocouple connections. Ground cable shields at the system side only. Ensure reliable chassis grounding.
