It supports all standard thermocouple types for broad field compatibility. Built-in automatic cold junction compensation eliminates the need for external compensation junctions. It provides open-circuit detection and over-range alarm functions. Per-channel range configuration supports mixed sensor types on one module. Hot-swap design enables online maintenance.

It applies to furnace temperature measurement, kiln temperature control, turbine exhaust temperature monitoring, metal heat treatment processes, and high-temperature process monitoring in power generation, steel, chemical and ceramic industries.

Front panel is UL 94 V-0 rated flame-retardant plastic. Circuit board uses FR-4 glass fiber substrate with precision analog components. Input connectors are nickel-plated copper alloy.

It features standard rack-mount I/O card structure with front panel status indicators, channel labels, rear backplane communication connector, and card guide rails for chassis mounting.

It receives millivolt-level signals from thermocouple sensors, amplifies and conditions the signals, performs cold junction compensation to reference the measurement to 0°C, converts the analog values to digital temperature data through A/D conversion, and transmits the data to the Ovation controller via the system backplane.

Install in a standard Ovation I/O chassis slot. Use thermocouple extension wire of matching type for field wiring. Observe correct polarity for thermocouple connections. Ground cable shields at the system side only. Ensure reliable chassis grounding.
