Working Principle
It receives motion commands from the SLC controller over the backplane, calculates the motion trajectory with S-curve profiling, and outputs pulse train and direction signals to the motor drive. Encoder feedback is compared to command position to close the position loop.
Installation Requirements
Install in any SLC 500 chassis slot except slot 0. Connect drive pulse/direction signals and encoder feedback. Wire 24V DC auxiliary power. Configure motion parameters via PLC programming software.
