Working Principle
It receives motion commands from the Logix controller via SERCOS interface, executes current loop and velocity loop control in the digital signal processor, and outputs variable-voltage variable-frequency 3-phase power to the servo motor via IGBT power stage. Encoder feedback closes the position and velocity loops.
Installation Requirements
Mount onto the Kinetix 6000 DC bus power rail. Torque mounting screws to specification. Connect motor power cable and feedback cable. Configure axis parameters via Studio 5000 software. Ensure protective earth ground connection.
