Working Principle
The primary conductor passes through the transformer window, creating a magnetic field proportional to primary current. This field induces a proportional current in the secondary winding, which is used for metering, protection and control circuits.
Installation Requirements
Mount over busbar or cable through the window. Connect secondary circuit to metering or protection devices. Ensure secondary circuit is never open while energized. Mount in vertical orientation. Tighten terminal screws to specified torque.
