Technical Specifications
Rated current input: 5A secondary. Rated voltage: 120V AC. Frequency: 50/60Hz. Trip curves: inverse time, very inverse, extremely inverse, instantaneous. Accuracy: ±3% of pickup. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +70°C. Mounting: panel mount.
Functional Features
Multiple selectable time-current curves for coordination flexibility. Adjustable pickup current and time dial settings. Static solid-state design with no moving parts for long service life. Front panel test switch and trip indicator. Target test capability for system verification.
Application Scenarios
It provides overcurrent protection for distribution feeders, substation transformers, motor control centers, switchgear assemblies and industrial electrical distribution systems.
Performance Parameters
Pickup range: 0.5A to 10A. Accuracy: ±3% at pickup. Reset time: <2 seconds. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +70°C. Burden: <5VA.
Material Composition
Housing: flame-retardant molded plastic. PCB: FR-4 glass epoxy. Current sensor: toroidal current transformer. Output contacts: silver alloy. Terminals: tin-plated copper.
Structural Characteristics
It features a semi-flush panel mount housing, front panel adjustment dials, trip indicator flag, test button, and rear screw terminals.
Working Principle
The relay measures line current via an internal current transformer, compares the measured value to the set pickup threshold, and initiates a trip output after the configured time delay based on the selected time-current curve. Static electronic circuitry provides accurate timing with no mechanical wear.
Installation Requirements
Mount on equipment panel with cutout per dimensional drawing. Wire current input and voltage supply per wiring diagram. Connect trip output contacts to control circuit. Set pickup and time dial settings per coordination study.
