Working Principle RMX128 connects to primary CPU and standby CPU via backplane bus and dedicated redundancy cable. Real‑time runtime variables, I/O image and system status data from primary CPU are written into shared memory space. Standby CPU continuously reads mirrored data from RMX128 module. When primary CPU fault occurs, standby CPU holds complete runtime data to realize bumpless system switch‑over without data loss.
Installation Requirements Install module into designated redundancy slot of RX3i redundant rack. Complete cabinet protective grounding.
