Resolution is 14-bit for precise voltage control.  User-configurable scaling allows flexible adjustment of each channel’s output range. Auto-scaling supports automatic output voltage configuration based on programming. Alarm and monitoring functions detect output out-of-range conditions and loss of user power. Discrete input data monitoring allows alarm status reporting to the host.  Communication interface exchanges data with the host system via the Field Control bus.

Eight independent analog channels provide multi-device control from a single module. 14-bit resolution delivers fine output control for precise actuation. Two isolated groups of four outputs enhance noise immunity and wiring flexibility. User-configurable scaling maps digital values to desired voltage ranges. The module receives digital output values from the CPU via the Field Control bus. Each channel’s D/A converter transforms the digital value into a proportional analog voltage. Output amplifiers buffer the signal and drive connected field devices. Isolation circuits separate field outputs from backplane logic.
