 Configurable input ranges are 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA. Input signal range is 0.0-25 mA. Analog resolution is 5.0 μA. Conversion resolution is 12 bits. Typical conversion time is 60 μs per channel. Input impedance is 249.75-250.25 Ω. Isolation to case is 250 VAC continuous. Ground to logic isolation is 1500 VAC for 1 minute. External power supply range is 18-30 VDC with 24 VDC nominal. Current draw from BIU is 51 mA maximum.

Input current flows through a precision 250 Ω resistor, converting the current signal to a voltage signal.

Mount on approved Field Control base unit. Wire 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire transmitters per the module pinout. Use shielded twisted-pair cables with shield grounded at one end. Connect chassis ground to the control cabinet enclosure.

Maximum input current is 30 mA. Built-in 1 A fuse protects the 24 V output circuit. Use AWG #14 to #22 wire. Maximum recommended wiring distance is 100 meters for 2-wire transmitters to avoid voltage drop. Ground the shield at the module side only to prevent ground loops.
