Working Principle
The scanner continuously polls connected VersaMax I/O modules via the backplane, maps I/O data to PROFINET exchange buffers, and communicates with the IO-Controller at the configured production period.
Installation Requirements
Mount on VersaMax carrier or compatible base. Connect to Ethernet network via standard CAT5e or better cables. Configure IP address and network parameters through programming software.
Usage Precautions
Use shielded Ethernet cables in industrial environments. The USB port is for firmware upgrades only and not intended for permanent connection. Ensure network switch supports required data throughput.
