Working Principle
Input signals are applied through current-limiting resistors to optical isolators. The isolators convert high-voltage DC field signals to low-voltage logic signals compatible with the VersaMax backplane.
Installation Requirements
Mount on VersaMax carrier. Wire field devices to isolated input terminals. No external field power is required.
Usage Precautions
Verify input voltage does not exceed 150 VDC. Select appropriate filter setting for input signal characteristics. Derating may be required based on ambient temperature, external voltage, and module orientation.
