Technical Specifications
Total I/O points are 32, divided into 16 inputs and 16 outputs. Input points support positive and negative logic. Output points are 24 VDC positive logic with electronic short-circuit protection. Nominal voltage is 24 VDC. Load current is 0.5 A per point at 30 VDC. Response time is 0.5 ms for inputs and outputs. Backplane current consumption is approximately 70 mA maximum from 5 VDC bus. Weight is approximately 0.26 kg.
Functional Features
Electronic short-circuit protection on outputs prevents damage from wiring faults. Free-wheeling diodes protect against inductive load transients. Individual LED indicators for each input and output point show on/off status. Amber LEDs indicate overload conditions on outputs. Diagnostic functions detect shorts and overloads, generating fault messages.

Application Scenarios
Machine control panels, assembly stations, conveyor systems, packaging equipment, and applications requiring combined input monitoring and output control in one module position.
Performance Parameters
0.5 ms response time supports fast discrete control. 0.5 A per point output current drives standard industrial loads. Electronic protection reduces downtime from wiring errors.
Material Composition
Industrial-grade housing with protected output circuitry and LED indicator array.
Structural Characteristics
Single-slot module with grouped terminals. Outputs feature electronic protection circuits. LED array provides individual point status visibility.
Working Principle
Input circuits receive 24 VDC signals from field devices and convert them to digital data for the CPU. Output circuits receive digital commands and switch 24 VDC power to connected loads through protected driver circuits.
Installation Requirements
Mount on VersaMax box-style carrier. Connect 24 VDC field power for output operation. Wire inputs per positive or negative logic configuration as required.
Usage Precautions
Verify output load current does not exceed 0.5 A per point. Use external suppression for highly inductive loads. Clear fault conditions through software command or power cycle after short-circuit events.
