Working Principle
The carrier provides 5 VDC backplane power and data interface to the mounted communication module. It routes network communication signals between the module’s fieldbus connector and the VersaMax backplane.

Snap onto grounded 35 mm DIN rail. For EMC protection, ensure conductive mounting surface. Install communication module with tool-free latch retention. Connect fieldbus cables per module-specific wiring diagrams.
Usage Precautions
This carrier primarily supports IC200BEM series communication modules and 32-point discrete modules.
