Working Principle
The carrier provides physical mounting and electrical backplane interface for one VersaMax I/O module. Terminals establish connection between field devices and the module’s internal circuitry through the carrier’s printed wiring.
Installation Requirements
Snap onto grounded 7.5 mm x 35 mm DIN rail. Ensure DIN rail has conductive corrosion-resistant finish with no paint. For high-vibration environments, supplement with panel mounting. Set keying dials to match the installed module.
Usage Precautions
Torque terminal screws to specified values for secure connections. Maintain minimum mounting clearances for ventilation. Ground the DIN rail for EMC protection.
