GE IC200ALG331‑KD Analog Combination Input / Output Module

The module features four individually isolated analog output channels. Output signals are configurable for 4-20 mA current or ±10 VDC voltage. Resolution is 16-bit with step sizes of 381 nA for current and 381 μV for voltage. Update rate is 7 milliseconds maximum. Accuracy is ±0.1% of full scale at 25°C. External power supply range is 18-30 VDC. Backplane current consumption is 10 mA at 5V and 115 mA at 3.3V. Isolation is 250 VAC continuous and 1500 VAC for one minute between channels and logic.

Individual channel isolation prevents cross-talk and ground loops. Software-configurable output types eliminate the need for hardware jumpers.Diagnostic capabilities include high/low limit detection, over/underrange, open wire, loss of field power, and non-volatile memory fault detection.

Control valve positioning, variable frequency drive control, damper and louver actuation, HVAC control, panel meter driving, and cascade control signal distribution.

16-bit resolution provides ultra-fine output control. ±0.1% full-scale accuracy ensures reliable performance. 7 ms update rate maintains real-time control capability. Crosstalk rejection is 70 dB minimum.

The module receives four words of analog output data from the CPU or NIU. Each channel’s microcontroller and DAC convert the digital value to an isolated analog signal. Current outputs act as regulators requiring an external loop supply.

Mount on VersaMax I/O carriers. For current mode, connect external 24 VDC supply to terminals B17 and B18. Ensure carrier grounding for EMC protection.
