Working Principle
It separates the 4-20mA analog process signal from the superimposed HART frequency-shift-keyed digital signal, measures the analog process variable, and processes HART communication for instrument configuration, diagnostics and multi-variable data access.
Installation Requirements
Install in any available CENTUM chassis slot. Wire HART field instruments in multi-drop topology. Terminate the HART network with a 250Ω resistor at the farthest device. Configure device addresses via engineering workstation.
