Technical Specifications Passive design requiring no external excitation power supply; threaded metal housing for mechanical installation; outputs sine wave pulse signal whose frequency varies proportionally with rotational speed; wide industrial temperature tolerance.
Functional Features Non-contact rotational speed measurement; excellent resistance to mechanical vibration and shock; simple and robust mechanical construction without internal wearing components.
Application Scenarios Diesel generator, gas engine and steam/gas turbine speed feedback and overspeed monitoring loops.
Performance Parameters Consistent and stable pulse output within the full rated speed range; no mechanical contact abrasion, enabling long service life.
Structural Characteristics Machined metal threaded shell; internal integrated permanent magnet and induction coil assembly; shielded signal outgoing cable to suppress electromagnetic noise interference.
Working Principle When the rotating gear teeth pass the sensor tip, the magnetic flux density around the internal magnet changes periodically. The variation of magnetic flux induces alternating sine-wave pulse in the induction coil, and the pulse frequency directly reflects the rotational speed of the prime mover.
Installation Requirements Adjust the air gap between sensor tip and gear teeth strictly according to datasheet requirement; fully tighten the lock nut to prevent loosening induced by long-term vibration.
Usage Notes Avoid collision or impact damage to the sensitive sensing tip during installation and transportation; regularly check air gap dimension and cable insulation integrity during routine maintenance.
