Technical Specifications Passive sensing type without external excitation power; threaded metal housing; output sine wave pulse signal, frequency proportional to rotation speed. Operating temperature: -40℃ ~ +85℃.
Functional Features Non-contact speed measurement; excellent shock and vibration resistance; maintenance-free structure with no internal consumable wearing components.
Application Scenarios Diesel generator, gas engine, steam and gas turbine speed feedback and overspeed monitoring loops.
Performance Parameters Stable pulse output across the full working speed range; long service life without contact wear.
Structural Characteristics Precision-machined threaded metal shell, built-in permanent magnet and induction coil assembly, shielded outgoing signal cable for noise suppression.
Working Principle When gear teeth rotate past the sensor tip, the magnetic flux around the built-in magnet changes periodically. The flux variation induces alternating sine-wave pulses in the coil, and the pulse frequency reflects the actual rotating speed of the prime mover.
Installation Requirements Adjust the air gap between sensor tip and gear teeth strictly following datasheet specifications; tighten the lock nut to prevent loosening caused by long-term vibration.
Usage Notes Avoid impact damage to the sensitive sensing tip during transportation and installation; inspect air gap and cable insulation during routine maintenance.
