Working Principle
The handle operates the moving contacts to open or close the circuit. When closed, current flows through the fuse and closed contacts to the load. Under overload or short circuit conditions, the fuse element melts to interrupt the circuit. The switch provides visible isolation point for servicing.
Installation Requirements
Mount on equipment panel in upright position. Torque terminal screws to specified values. Install fuses of correct rating and type. Verify switch operation before energizing. Connect load side to bottom terminals.
Usage Notes
Replace fuses only with same type and rating. De-energize and lockout before fuse replacement. Do not use without fuses installed. Inspect contacts periodically for wear. Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
