Technical Specifications

Number of poles: 3. Rated current: 30A. Rated voltage: 600V AC. Fuse type: Class H, 30A. Short-circuit rating: 100kA @ 480V AC. Mounting: panel mount. Operating temperature range: -20°C to +60°C. Protection rating: IP20. Certifications: UL 98, CSA, CE.

Functional Features

Integrated switch and fuse assembly provides isolation and overcurrent protection in one unit. Positive break indication confirms contact separation. Padlockable handle prevents unauthorized operation. Blown fuse indicator per pole. Quick-make quick-break contact mechanism.

Application Scenarios

It is used for motor circuit protection, branch circuit disconnects, control panel feeders, machine disconnects and industrial power distribution systems.

Performance Parameters

Rated current: 30A. Rated voltage: 600V AC. Short-circuit withstand: 100kA. Contact resistance: <1mΩ. Operating temperature range: -20°C to +60°C.

Material Composition

Body: glass-fiber reinforced polyester. Contacts: silver-plated copper. Fuse clips: tin-plated copper. Handle: thermoplastic with steel insert. Terminals: tin-plated copper alloy.

Structural Characteristics

It features a molded insulating base, top operating handle, 3-pole fuse holders, line and load terminal lugs, and panel mounting feet.

Working Principle

The handle operates the moving contacts to open or close the circuit. When closed, current flows through the fuse and closed contacts to the load. Under overload or short circuit conditions, the fuse element melts to interrupt the circuit. The switch provides visible isolation point for servicing.

Installation Requirements

Mount on equipment panel in upright position. Torque terminal screws to specified values. Install fuses of correct rating and type. Verify switch operation before energizing. Connect load side to bottom terminals.

Usage Notes

Replace fuses only with same type and rating. De-energize and lockout before fuse replacement. Do not use without fuses installed. Inspect contacts periodically for wear. Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
