Working Principle The module acts as PROFIBUS DP master, exchanges cyclic I/O data with DP slaves on PROFIBUS bus. It transfers data between PROFIBUS network and ControlLogix CPU through rack backplane bus.
Installation Requirements Mount in ControlLogix rack. Connect PROFIBUS cable with proper bus termination resistor. Import GSD files and configure network via Prosoft software.
Usage Notes Power off before plug/unplug module. Ensure PROFIBUS cable shielding and termination resistor are correctly installed. Check slave status LEDs during commissioning.
