Technical Specifications Output signal range: 4-20mA; Isolation between channels and backplane; Supports redundant configuration; Operating temperature range: 0°C to 60°C; Storage temperature: -40°C to 85°C.
Functional Features Provides analog signal output for field actuators. Built-in channel fault detection and diagnostics. Supports hot swapping without powering down the system. Communicates with the control rack backplane for real-time data exchange.
Application Scenarios Widely applied in petrochemical, power, paper making and other continuous process industries. Used for regulating valves, frequency converters and other analog field equipment in DCS control systems.
Performance Parameters Output accuracy: ±0.05% full scale; Response time less than 200ms; Each channel supports overcurrent and short-circuit protection.
Structural Characteristics Standard rack-mounted module design, plug-in structure. Equipped with status LED indicators for power, communication and channel faults. Matches Honeywell system backplane installation.
Working Principle The controller sends digital setpoint data to the module via backplane bus. The internal D/A converter converts digital values into standard 4-20mA analog signals, and outputs to field devices. The module continuously monitors channel status and reports fault information to the controller.
Installation Requirements Install in the designated DCS rack slot. Ensure good ventilation and heat dissipation. Tighten module locking screws after insertion. Wire field analog output cables to the terminal block correctly.
Usage Notes Do not connect or disconnect modules with power applied. Check status indicators for communication and power faults. Configure device parameters via Honeywell DCS configuration software. Perform regular calibration of analog output channels.
