Technical Specifications
Number of channels: 8. Thermocouple types: J, K, T, E selectable per channel. Measurement range: -270°C to +1820°C depending on type. Resolution: 0.1°C. Accuracy: ±0.5°C typical. Cold junction compensation: ±0.2°C accuracy. Isolation: 500V AC channel-to-bus. Backplane current: 400mA @ 5V DC. Power dissipation: 2W. Operating temperature range: 0°C to +60°C.
Functional Features
Supports all standard thermocouple types. Automatic cold junction compensation eliminates external compensation junctions. Open circuit detection per channel. Channel-to-channel isolation. Hot-swap capability.
Application Scenarios
It measures turbine exhaust temperature, process heating, furnace temperature and bearing temperature in power generation, petrochemical and metal processing industries.
Performance Parameters
Update rate: 200ms per channel. CMRR: 120dB @ 60Hz. Temperature drift: ±0.01°C/°C. Operating temperature range: 0°C to +60°C.
Material Composition
Housing: flame-retardant plastic. PCB: FR-4. Input circuits: precision amplifiers and cold junction sensors. Connectors: gold-plated copper.
Structural Characteristics
Standard Mark V card form factor, front panel status LEDs, rear connector, card guide mounting.
Working Principle
It receives millivolt signals from thermocouples, amplifies and compensates for cold junction temperature, converts values to digital temperature data via ADC, and transmits data to the controller.
Installation Requirements
Install in Mark V chassis slot. Use thermocouple extension wire of matching type. Observe correct polarity. Ground shields at system side.
Usage Notes
Configure thermocouple type per channel. Calibrate periodically. Avoid temperature gradients at terminals. Follow ESD procedures.
