Working Principle FEM100 connects to native fieldbus port of FCP270 controller via dedicated baseplate. Internal circuit completes fieldbus signal splitting and driving, outputs four independent expanded HDLC fieldbus ports. Each port can connect FBM I/O module baseplates. Process‑data and control‑commands from FCP270 are distributed to each expanded fieldbus segment. Field‑acquired data from FBM modules flows back to FCP270 through FEM100.
Installation Requirements Mount dedicated FEM100 expansion baseplate on standard 35 mm DIN‑rail inside control cabinet. Insert FEM100 module onto baseplate and lock mechanical buckle. Complete inter‑connection cable wiring between FEM100 baseplate and FCP270 controller baseplate.
