Working Principle After power‑on, FCP280 loads control‑configuration database stored in flash memory. It communicates with FBM I/O modules via four HDLC fieldbus links, collects field‑process‑variable data.

Installation Requirements Mount dedicated FCP280 baseplate on standard 35 mm DIN‑rail inside control cabinet. Install required copper or fiber Ethernet adapters onto baseplate. Insert FCP280 module onto baseplate and lock mechanical buckle.
