Working Principle
It receives discrete voltage signals from field sensing devices, conditions and filters the signals to logic levels, and transmits input status data to the Flex I/O adapter module via the internal Flex bus, which forwards the data to the host controller over the network.
Installation Requirements
Mount on compatible 1794-TB3 or equivalent terminal base units. Use 22-14 AWG copper wire rated at 90°C. Tighten terminal screws to specified torque. Ensure reliable system grounding. Observe correct polarity for sinking input wiring.
