Technical Specifications
Network interfaces: 1×EtherNet/IP (10/100Mbps RJ45), 2×PROFIBUS PA ports. Power supply: 24-32V DC. Current draw: 260mA @ 24V DC (no field devices). Power dissipation: 12.24W. Isolation voltage: 30V continuous basic insulation between network channels and power. Maximum PA devices: 24 per segment. Operating temperature range: 0°C to +60°C. Storage temperature range: -40°C to +85°C. Mounting: DIN rail or panel.
Functional Features
It provides direct EtherNet/IP to PROFIBUS PA conversion without intermediate DP infrastructure. Built-in power conditioners supply 500mA per PA port to power field devices. It supports media redundancy and device-level ring topologies. Automatic device discovery simplifies commissioning. Configuration and diagnostics are integrated into Studio 5000 and Add-On Profiles.
Application Scenarios
It is widely used in process control systems, process instrumentation integration, FOUNDATION fieldbus migration, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, oil and gas field devices, and plant-wide process automation networks.

Material Composition
The housing is made of industrial-grade flame-retardant plastic with metal shielding. Internal circuits use FR-4 PCB with industrial-grade components.
Structural Characteristics
It features industrial plastic housing with metal shielding, front panel status LEDs, Phoenix-style power connector, two PA bus connectors, Ethernet RJ45 port, and DIN rail mounting clips.
Working Principle
It acts as a protocol gateway, translating between CIP over EtherNet/IP and PROFIBUS PA protocols. It manages PA bus communication as a class 1 master, exchanges process data and configuration with field instruments, and maps all device parameters into the Logix controller data table for seamless control and monitoring.
Installation Requirements
Mount on standard 35mm DIN rail or equipment panel. Use 24-18 AWG copper wire for DC power connection. Use approved PROFIBUS PA cable for field device wiring.
