Working Principle
It receives input signals from thermocouples or millivolt sensors, converts them into digital values after signal amplification, cold junction compensation and A/D conversion, and transmits them to the PLC CPU through the backplane bus to realize accurate measurement and monitoring of temperature and small signals.
Installation Requirements
Install in any slot except slot 0 of the SLC 500 rack. Use thermocouple extension wires for wiring. Ensure reliable module grounding. Keep away from strong electromagnetic interference sources. Maintain ambient temperature within the rated range.
Usage Notes
Distinguish positive and negative poles of thermocouples during wiring. Use corresponding type of compensation wires. Regularly calibrate measurement accuracy. Avoid open input circuits. Check sensor wiring first when a fault occurs.
