Functional Features

• Multiple – port Communication: With eight independently programmable serial ports, it can communicate with multiple devices simultaneously, meeting the needs of complex serial communication systems.
• Intelligent Kernel: Contains Xycom’s 68000 – based intelligent I/O kernel. Together with the on – board firmware, it can perform many time – consuming tasks related to serial I/O, reducing the burden on the host processor.
• Programmable Baud Rate: The baud rate can be set according to actual requirements, which is suitable for different communication devices and communication rates, and has strong adaptability.
• Terminal Driver Extension: Provides a terminal driver extension (TDE), which can provide intelligent line editing functions in a user – configurable environment, facilitating user operation and configuration.
• Interrupt Function: It can be jumpered to generate an interrupt on any of the seven VMEbus interrupt levels, and the two Z8530 SCC chips can generate a total of 16 different interrupt vectors, which is conducive to the real – time processing of the system.
