Functional Features

• Bidirectional I/O: The 64 bidirectional I/O channels can be configured as input or output ports. Each of the eight byte – wide ports can be separately programmed by setting or clearing a single bit in the port direction register, offering great flexibility in I/O configuration.
• Interrupt Function: With 8 channels of edge – selectable interrupt inputs, users can choose to latch the interrupt input signals on the rising or falling edge. The programmable mask allows for precise control over which interrupts are recognized, enhancing the module’s ability to respond to specific events.
• Flag Outputs: 8 channels of flag outputs can be used as external interrupt acknowledge lines or as control signal lines to externally connected devices, providing a convenient way to signal the status or trigger actions in other components.
• High – density and Cost – effective: It has a high – density channel arrangement, providing 80 channels in a single module, and offers a low cost per channel, which is cost – effective for applications requiring a large number of I/O channels.
