Manufacturer and Support
The MVME715P was developed by Motorola’s Embedded Communications division, which evolved through Force Computers, GE Intelligent Platforms, and later became part of Abaco Systems. As a mature product, it is no longer in active production but remains widely deployed in legacy and long-life-cycle systems. Technical documentation, spare units, and engineering support are available through specialized embedded systems suppliers and lifecycle management providers. The board’s proven reliability, extensive I/O, and compatibility with real-time operating systems make it a preferred choice for systems requiring sustained performance and long-term serviceability.
